To make a great Crème de Cassis de Dijon, we need of course a good fruit.

So obviously we keep up with the blackcurrant harvest closely. It is just ending. And don’t worry, despite the chaotic weather conditions and a severe frost episode, 2021 will be a good vintage. Whether in terms of quantity or quality, it is a good year for the Cassis de Dijon.

Maison Briottet has worked with the same producers in the Beaune cooperative for more than 20 years. All our blackcurrant berries come from Burgundy. We selected the variety « Noir de Bourgogne » for its unequalled aromatic and taste qualities.
